This UK
based journal deals with topics in the area of molecular, cellular and developmental biology. Online offerings are summaries and abstracts.

KEGG is an effort to computerize current knowledge of molecular and cellular biology in terms of the information pathways that consist of interacting molecules or genes and to provide links from the gene catalogs produced by genome sequencing projects.

Educational resource aimed at teachers, pupils and students. Topics covered include biochemistry, cell biology, developmental biology, human biology, mendelian genetics, immunology and molecular biology.

Monthly journal publishing research concerning viruses, providing fundamental new information using cross
disciplinary approaches of biochemistry, biophysics, cell biology, genetics, immunology, molecular biology, morphology, physiology, and pathogenesis and immunity. Sections include: Viral and Cellular Oncogenes, Viral Pathogenesis and Immunity, Virus-Cell Interactions, Animal Viruses, Bacterial Viruses, Plant Viruses, Protozoan and Fungal Viruses, and Gene Therapy.

Searchable dictionary of life science terms, including biochemistry, biotechnology, botany, cell biology and genetics.

Primary research journal providing an insight into mechanisms of plant and animal development covering all aspects from molecular and cellular to tissue levels. Contents, abstracts and some full text available.

Online version of a published dictionary which is intended to provide quick access to easily
understood and cross-referenced definitions of over 5000 terms frequently encountered in modern biology literature. Specific terms can be searched for, or the dictionary can be browsed via headings such as disease, cytoskeleton, transport and cell signalling.

A collection of biological science resources for teaching and research. Includes articles, lectures, activities, diagrams and images for a range of subjects such as botany, cell biology, ecology, palaeontology and zoology.

Set of links to selected, evaluated and annotated Internet resources relevant to cytology.

Telomeres are the physical ends of linear eukaryotic chromosomes. They are specialised nucleoprotein complexes that have important functions, primarily in the protection, replication, and stabilisation of the chromosome ends. TelDB is a telomere information centre which provides new information about telomeric and subtelomeric regions of chromosomes and telomere literature references, including a user interface to the searchable telomere literature database. TelDB includes over 1100 telomere related citations from 200 journals, covering over 80 species.

Contents and abstracts for all Annual Reviews' biomedical series (Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics, Immunology, Medicine, and 12 others). Text is searchable by keyword, but subscription is required to access full articles.

A peer
reviewed Web journal dedicated to the dissemination of research results in molecular biology, cell biology, and the genetics of the visual system (ocular and cortical).

Directory of biology and chemistry resources covering cell biology, genetics, microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry and organic chemistry. Also includes journals and articles on laboratory safety and careers in science.

Scholarly journal of neuroscience. Published monthly, it includes research articles in molecular, cellular, and developmental neurobiology, and also research in systems work. Abstracts and tables of contents provided.

Set of links to journals relevant to biochemistry, biophysics, cell biology and molecular biology. Some have only subscription information online, others have tables of contents, abstracts or full text.

Bi
weekly journal including original research in molecular biology, biochemistry, cancer research, cell biology, developmental biology, genetics, immunology, neurobiology, plant biology, structural biology and virology. Table of contents and abstracts online.
